T-MSC2021-16 2021-22 BITUMEN RESEAL PROGRAM

Mareeba Shire Council hereby invites written tenders from suitably qualified Contractors to supply & deliver bitumen reseals on designated roads and streets. The works includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Seal design • Traffic management • Construction/management of stockpile sites • Supply, cart, incorporate, heat and spray bitumen/cutter/adhesion agent • Supply and delivery of precoated aggregate • Load, spread and roll cover aggregate • Post-spread sweeping of aggregate • Post works signage • Installation of temporary raised pavement markers (TRPMs) • Removal and reinstatement/replacement of retro-reflective pavement markers (RRPMs) • Associated preliminaries required to execute the work, including, but not limited to mobilisation/demobilisation, travel between sites, safety management, environmental management, quality assurance, supervision.

All enquiries or clarifications must be via the online forum which will close 7 days prior to closing time. Council officers are unable to respond to verbal or emailed enquiries.

The closing time for electronic lodgement of Tenders is 11.00 am Friday 1 October 2021.

Regulation 228(7) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 may be applied.

Tender will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
