Water Main Installation Works and Road Closure Yamba Crescent, Cooma - Date: 14 September

Please be advised that weather permitting, water main installation works have been programmed to be carried out on Yamba Crescent, Cooma.
These works will require a water shut off to house numbers 9, 11, 13, 15, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 & 26. Water will be shut down to these properties from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Monday 13 September 2021.
A road closure and traffic diversion will be required adjacent to 9 Yamba Crescent.
This essential work is expected to commence on 13 September and be completed within one day. Works will be carried out between 7.00am and 6.00pm on Tuesday 14 September 2021.
Local traffic movements will be permitted under site staff direction. Snowy Monaro Regional Council staff and contractors will not require any access onto private property.
McMahons has been awarded this contract and will be issuing notices directly to individual residents prior to any works requiring the isolation of water supply to private properties.
Any road pavement, driveways and paths affected by the reconstruction work will be repaired or replaced as part of the project works.
Council apologises for any inconvenience this work may cause and asks residents and motorists to be mindful of work crews and machinery that will be working on and around this project.
