An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time ICT Officer to join our Corporate, Governance and Financial Services Directorate in the Isaac region, with a preference for Moranbah. Reporting to the Senior ICT Officer, the position is responsible for technology support including computers, phones and network issues for internal staff across Isaac Regional Council. Tertiary qualifications in an IT related field will be highly regarded, to be successful in the role you will need the following:
The ICT Officer will maintain and deliver high level customer service whilst undertaking ICT helpdesk activities including the prioritisation and scheduling of jobs through a ticket system including troubleshooting and communicating urgent works during system or network failures. The role will also require the maintenance of hardware and software inventory registers, computer hardware, software systems, networks, printers and scanners., whilst providing specialist technical advice, troubleshooting and training.
For this position we offer: Salary $66,856.61 to $72,843.44 per annum (Level 3 - Level 4, Stream A) Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight RDO in accordance with Council Policy 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading pro rata 12% super (in accordance with policy) About You:We are seeking an enthusiastic ICT Officer who possesses:
Tertiary qualifications within IT or related field experience in a similar role High level experience in utilising the Microsoft Suite of Products; Demonstrated experience working within Windows-based desktop environment of 300+ users; Demonstrated experience in internal information systems and application software; Local government experience is highly desirable.
