Bathroom Photo Booth

Bathroom Photo Booth is a collection of self-portraits that are all taken and developed by Edwina Combe in the artist’s own bathroom.

The photos act as glimpses into an unstructured and diaristic narrative that contextualizes the bathroom as simultaneously a reflective space but also a very vulnerable space.

Combe uses this series as a form of mindful healing during times of exacerbated mental illness, whilst also exploring how this shapes a sense of identity.
