Cardinia Shire Council is finalising plans for a new public toilet in Gembrook.
Council received funding from the Australian Government for the construction of accessible toilets at JAC Russell Reserve and has been working closely with the Gembrook Community Group to develop designs.
The automated modular toilets will feature two gender neutral accessible cubicles.
Community members are invited to provide feedback on concept designs for the toilet façade.
Cardinia Shire Mayor Councillor Brett Owen said the façade options have been selected to complement the surrounding environment.
Ranges Ward Councillor Jeff Springfield said the new toilet would be a great new facility for locals and visitors alike.
Council is seeking community feedback on facades before plans are finalised.
Works are expected to commence in late November.
The new toilet is funded by Council and the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
