An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Plant Operator (Roller) to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in Dysart. Reporting to the Team Leader- Infrastructure this position provides assistance with coordination, integration and delivery of services and the construction, maintenance and operational delivery of vehicles, plant and equipment across Isaac Regional Council.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Minimum 12 months experience in similar role Relevant certification for the operation of Roller (essential) Minimum requirement of MR Licence (HR, HC or MC licence highly regarded) Construction White Card Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics and general maintenance Ability and willingness to undertake labouring duties when required Relevant certification for the operation of other vehicle, plant and equipment specific to the role e.g. Loader, Skid Steer, Backhoe, Excavator, Tractor/Slasher, Grader (highly regarded) Level Two Traffic Management / Traffic Controller Ticket (highly regarded) Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment and/or behavioural testing

BENEFITS

Salary $52,672.99 - $55,012.55 per annum + allowances, including: Locality Allowance ($37.80 - $75.60 per fortnight) Construction Workers Allowance ($30.70 per week) Camp Allowance ($55 per day in accordance with our current Certified Agreement) Nominally 38 hours per week (3 x 10-hour days and 1 x 8-hour day, Monday- Thursday) 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading 12% super in accordance with Council policy RDOs in accordance with Council policy
