Another school holiday in lockdown doesn’t sound like much fun, but for families on the Northern Beaches, there’s still plenty to do. Even if the weather turns, we’ve got you covered with neat ideas, plus resources and online activities to help the kids and parents get through the spring break.

Enjoy daily sessions at 10am with our Coastal Environmental Centre. We have a super-duper program that will keep kids busy and entertained for part of the day with science experiments and gardening projects using easy to find materials from around the home.

Kids can get creative and try something new with our library of art activities planned and guided by local artists. Check back regularly for new releases as we add new activities every Friday.

Spot a whale from your local headland and then jump on our webinar with Dr Michele Blewitt, who will take you on a trip down the Whale Highway. Wednesday 29 September, 6.30pm.

This one is just for adults! Learn something new from local musicians in these free online trial music classes. Try keyboard, guitar and vocals between Monday 20 – Thursday 30 September.

Love your local

Lots of local businesses are doing it tough! Get the kids to make lovely artworks for them, jump on their socials and leave them a nice review and jump online and see if they are offering products or services online. Buy takeaway meals and head out to your favourite park for a COVID safe picnic.

Not all students get to kick back all holidays! Our senior students will also be studying hard for the HSC. Our HSC Bright program can help students in lots of ways.

Flags at all of our 21 beaches are back up from this weekend! Pack the boards, snacks and sunscreen, get some exercise, Vitamin D and catch a few waves at your favourite beach.
