Council services roadmap out of lockdown
Waste Transfer Stations: Council staff are preparing transfer stations for an expected increase in waste to our facilities due to the recent NSW Health stay-at-home orders. All waste transfer stations will resume normal trading and operating hours from Saturday, 2 October. Council staff will be ensuring that all of our facilities are COVID-safe for both staff and customers.
Yass Library: The Yass Library will be closed to the public but will continue to provide click and collect to the community. The Library will resume its normal operating hours from Monday, 11 October.
Yass Valley Information Centre: Closed to the public but will be available for walk-up information and sales from Tuesday, 5 October. The Yass Valley information Centre will resume normal operating hours from Monday, 11 October.
Council's Administration Building: Will remain closed for face-to-face transactions until Monday, 11 October. For any enquiries, please continue to email [email protected] or call 6226 1477.

To keep our staff and community safe, we will be taking a cautious approach in the reopening of our services and amenities. The reopening of our services on Monday, 11 October coincides with the announcement made by the NSW Government which states restrictions will be eased for those who have received double dose vaccination on this date.
