As a result of a positive COVID-19 case identified in the Snowy Monaro Regional Council, there will be an impact on the delivery of essential services until otherwise notified.
In the same way that many of the smaller businesses in our region have been impacted by staff at exposure sites, subsequently needing to test and isolate, Council is also affected by this and availability of staff is now limited as they are at home as per the NSW Health requirements.
Due to this, all transfer stations in the Snowy Monaro LGA will be closed until further notice.
The community may access the landfills only for the disposal of putrescible (likely to become putrid/decaying) material. Non-putrescible material will be turned away. Commercial operators are also able to access the landfills.
Operating hours (closed on public holidays ie today) are: •Jindabyne - open 9.30am – 4.30pm weekdays, 10am – 3pm on weekends •Cooma – open 9.30am – 4.30pm weekdays, 1 – 5pm Saturday and 11am – 5pm Sunday •Bombala – open 10am – 4pm Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon only
