Community groups across the region have been awarded $163,929.25 in Central Highlands Regional Council’s second community grants round in 2021.
The 19 successful applicants were announced in the general council meeting on 6 October 2021.
‘We received 20 applications for the second community grant round this year,’ Central Highlands Regional Council Mayor Kerry Hayes said.
‘Our community groups are integral to our region and it is always exciting to see the benefits this funding provides.’
‘Council offers two rounds of community grants each calendar year and I encourage anyone looking to make improvements benefiting the community to apply for round one of next year’s community grants program.
