Council’s regular services and facilities will reopen as part of a staged process over the coming weeks to ensure the smooth operation of services and the health and safety of staff and customers.
Residents can be rest assured that all online services will remain available as the staged reopening of face to face services continues.
Campbelltown Arts Centre will welcome the return of visitors from Monday 11 October while libraries and leisure facilities will commence reopening, with some changes to our usual services.
HJ Daley Library and Ingleburn Library will reopen to the public from Monday 11 October, while Glenquarie and Eagle Vale libraries and the Campbelltown Visitor Information Centre will reopen on Monday 25 October.
From Monday 11 October, the indoor pool and gym at Eagle Vale Central will be available to book for lap swimming and rehab as well as the gym at Macquarie Fields Fitness and Indoor Centre, other facilities will open up over the coming weeks.
Sports Hall bookings will also be available at Macquarie Fields Fitness and Indoor Centre from 11 October. Some of our other recreation and leisure programs will be part of a staged return, over the coming weeks.
The face-to-face customer service counter at the Campbelltown Civic Centre will remain closed until 25 October and the Animal Care Facility will remain accessible by appointment only at this stage.
Council is reviewing its regular events schedule to consider how upcoming events can be held with the enjoyment and safety of the community in mind.
Council will continue to monitor the advice of health authorities and the current public health orders to progress the opening of facilities.
Anyone attending facilities is asked to be mindful of current health advice to ensure the safety of all visitors and staff.
