Upcoming closure of Blackwater waste facility

The Blackwater waste facility will close from 12.00 pm to 5.00 pm on Saturday 16 October 2021.

The closure will allow BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) crews to inspect a section of the Bedford East Raw Water pipeline which runs under the entrance to the landfill.

The waste facility will still open from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm that day, and will return to normal operating hours on Sunday 17 October.
