Mungindi Water Supply

Mungindi Water Supply Council wishes to advise Mungindi residents that due to the town’s water network running at capacity, we are planning to supply untreated river water to the Mungindi Cemetery. This change in supply will not adversely affect the water network but has provided a solution to ease demand on the network. Council is also in the process of increasing the capacity of the current bore line to the Mungindi Water Treatment Plant and will be installing new cooling towers over the coming months as part of the strategy to drought-proof the town.
