Remembrance Day Walk

Sunday, November 7, 2021, 3 – 5pm On 7 November, the Sunday before Remembrance Day, the Friends of Balmoral Cemetery are having a short walk and dedication of war graves recently completed for First World War veterans previously buried in unmarked graves at Balmoral Cemetery. Friends of Balmoral Cemetery will be joined by the National Service Pipe Band and the Morningside Scouts will also be conducting a special Scout service at the new grave of Walter Trevethan, former District Scout Master. BYO water, hat, sturdy shoes and sunscreen. This walk is on relatively flat terrain. Location: Meet at the Green Shed (parking just inside the Wynnum Road gate).
