Statement on Hardwick Lane, Yass

Council is aware of the issues on Hardwick Lane, Yass.

We have undertaken discussions with a contractor to start drainage work as soon as possible.

The contractor hopes to start work at the end of this month, weather permitting. The work is expected to take up to three weeks to complete.

Once these works have been completed, our crew will begin re-sheeting. This work should be completed before Christmas, weather dependent.

This has been one of the wettest winters the area has experienced and it has been challenging securing contractors during the lockdowns.
