An award-winning contemporary play is coming to Burnie!

‘Second Sight’ is the title of an award-winning play from Destinations Theatre that will be on at the Burnie Arts Centre Theatre on Saturday 20 November at 2pm and 7.30pm.

The play won 13 awards in the Victorian one-act play festival including Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor and the People’s Choice Award.

The play tells the story of 2 people – she’s seventy and has lost her sight, while he’s a student with no visible means of support. When he breaks into her home they both find that life has its own sense of humour as a totally unexpected friendship and affection develops between the two.

With a Tasmanian writer, director and cast led by Pip Tyrrell as ‘Zoe’ it’s sure to be a great night out, so why not join us for a complimentary pre-show drink and enjoy this highly regarded play.
