TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

MOSSGIEL ROAD, HILLSTON

Monday 1 November to Thursday 4 November 2021, from 10.30AM to 12.30PM

Mossgiel Road will be temporarily closed to traffic from Oxley Ave to the intersection of Roto/Mossgiel Roads on Monday 1 November to Thursday 4 November 2021. The road is closed to enable mobile cranes to lift 8 beams for the new bridge into place at Jackson’s Bridge. Works should take approximately 2 hours each day for the four days.  

During the closure, traffic controllers will be in attendance at Oxley Ave and Mossgiel Rd to provide local access. Through traffic will be diverted via alternate routes until the lifting procedure is complete.

If these works do not proceed on the above times, alternate times for these works will be provided in due course.
