Isaac Regional Council advises motorists of geo-technical investigations and survey activities work at the Peak Downs Mine Road and Saraji Road intersection on:
Monday, 1 November to Friday, 5 November 2021 Weather permitting
The intersection will be under traffic control and may be reduced to a single lane. Motorists are advised to expect delays, drive with caution and abide by the traffic management plan.
During November, traffic monitoring systems will be installed at the Peak Downs Mine Road and Saraji Road intersection. The devices will be collecting vehicle numbers only; personal details will not be recorded. The devices are not intended to be used for enforcement reasons. The monitoring activity is to allow for the design of the intersection upgrade project.
These works are jointly funded by Isaac Regional Council, BHP and Vitrinite.
