Temporary park and road closure, Moranbah Town Square

Isaac Regional Council would like to advise Moranbah residents and businesses that Town Square Park and Avenue will be temporarily closed on: Friday 5 November 2021 5pm to 8pm The closure of these areas is to facilitate the 2021 Moranbah Miners’ Memorial Commemoration Service. Residents and workers are encouraged to #putyourlampsout and participate in the 2021 Moranbah Miners' Memorial - Driveways At Dusk observance being led by the Moranbah Miners’ Memorial Committee and watch a live-stream of the service on social media. Areas of Town Square will also be closed to the public throughout the day on Friday 5 November 2021 to allow the preparation of the memorial for the evening’s observance.
