Message from the Mayor

Sometimes silence is not golden. As a responsible proactive community, we need Health NSW to update public information immediately. Our community needs to know which sites are exposure sites NOW. We have been well aware of sewerage detection for the last two weeks. As the Mayor of the Moree Plains Shire Council, I am horrified at the time lag in regard to public information. Our community bush telegraph knows more about the local cases than our Health Department and this is unacceptable. Please stay safe, get tested, and be aware of your surroundings. We want to get through this breakout as soon as possible and have a free Christmas.
