Planned Water Supply Outage – Moranbah

Isaac Regional Council advises residents of a planned water outage affecting some residences on Belshore Street (house numbers 24 to 26) and Archer Drive (to Bushlark Drive), Moranbah

Isaac Regional Council advises residents of a planned water outage affecting some residences on Belshore Street (house numbers 24 to 26) and Archer Drive (to Bushlark Drive), Moranbah from:

Wednesday, 10 November 2021 Between 8am and 6pm Weather permitting

The outage allows for the change-over from the existing water main to the new HDPE water main to take place, as part of the water main upgrade works.

This will affect approximately 24 properties in the area.

Council has engaged contractors Nixon Plumbing to undertake the project.

Nixon Plumbing will make contact with residents at the affected properties prior to these works occurring.

As previously mentioned in notices, once the new water main is installed and commissioned, water connections will be changed to the new HDPE Water Main and the old AC Water Main decommissioned. Residents are being advised when the changeover will occur to minimise any inconvenience.

Once the water supply has been restored, residents may experience instances of discoloured water.

If this occurs, Council recommends flushing tap water for up to five minutes or until the water becomes clear.

Council also recommends that any flushing water be used on your garden or lawn.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding as this important work is carried out.

If you have any inquiries or concerns, Craig Nixon can be contacted on 0412 712 560.

If you require further information please contact Council’s Customer Service Centre available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227).
