Nogoa November is back in full swing for 2021, with a jam-packed Saturday of fun for the whole family.
The annual celebration of our vast river system will be held at the Emerald Botanic Gardens on 27 November 2021.
Following the weekly park run through the Botanic Gardens, Nogoa November celebrations will kick off at 8.00 am. There will be a range of stalls, activities for the kids, giveaways, free microchipping for cats and registered dogs, free sausage sizzle, waterplay, a coffee van, kayaking and more.
Central Highlands Regional Council Mayor Kerry Hayes encouraged everyone to come along and celebrate this integral part of our region’s natural environment.
‘Without the Nogoa River, there wouldn’t be the thriving Central Highlands communities we live in and love today,’ Mayor Hayes said.
‘Entry is free and there will be a bunch of free activities to partake in on the day. It’s a great opportunity to get together and have some fun to celebrate our community.’
The event will run until 1.00 pm. Jump on the Facebook event page to keep in the loop for any updates.
