Gannawarra Shire Council is continuing to protect the community as the Gannawarra emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic, with Council implementing guidelines listed in the State Government’s Victoria’s Roadmap: Delivering the National Plan.
These measures, which are now in effect, will enable maximum attendance at popular Council facilities and accessibility to key services.
“Council thanks residents for their understanding when these measures were initially implemented earlier this month,” Council Chief Executive Officer, Tom O’Reilly said.
“These changes, which follow on from the State Government’s announcement that Victoria has reached Phase D of the roadmap, will ensure that we continue to protect our vulnerable members of the community from COVID-19.”
As part of the new measures, any person aged over 12 years and two months visiting the following facilities will need to have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine and provide verification of their vaccination status, or have a valid medical exemption:

Anyone who needs assistance with connecting their COVID-19 digital certificate to their smartphone or printing a certificate can contact their local Gannawarra Library Service branch or Neighbourhood House.
