As we all try to navigate the 'new normal' it's important to reconnect with people and start to make our social connections strong again.
It could be as simple as attending your community centre for an activity such as Friday Night Socials at Baranduda Community Centre or the monthly Italian Pop-Up Cafe also held at the Baranduda Community Centre.
The Baranduda Playgroup is a great chance for both young children and parents to be together in a safe and fun social setting.
For those who enjoy a good chat while getting your hands busy in the kitchen, Community Cooking at Felltimber Community Centre could be a great outing for you and a friend or family member.
You can learn the art of Alcohol Ink Painting at the next Friday Night Socials event at Felltimber Community Centre on December 3.
Facilitated by Art Starts Here, follow along with step-by-step instructions and master the beautiful and fluid art form of hand-blown alcohol ink painting.
Using inks, traditional Japanese Yupo paper and ceramic pieces, you will experiment and learn the various techniques.
Bookings essential as spaces are limited in line with COVIDSafe requirements.
Bring along your guitar or other musical instruments and have some fun, share and learn new skills and work on songs together at the Felltimber Road Music Group. The next event is on December 1.
Another good outing for young ones and their carers is Storytime at Hyphen.
The weekly Monday morning event is for children aged 18 months to 3 years.
Stories take on a life of their own through a mix of mediums with songs and rhymes that focus on movement of the whole body.
Grab your friends or family, prepare your pizza bases and favourite toppings and head down to the Belvoir Park Community Wood-fired Oven where our friendly staff will cook your pizza in minutes.
The next event will be held on December 12.
If you are into playing board games, come down to 'The Hub' at 86A High St, Wodonga where Uniting Wodonga in conjunction with Fernbank Confectionary Crew Wodonga is hosting a free games morning every Tuesday from 10am to noon.
