Like a kid on Christmas morning, Central Highlands Regional Council is excited to announce our annual lights competition is receiving a revamp this holiday season.
Illuminating the same great holiday spirit, the newly named Light Up CH will include two new awards with People’s Choice and Best Rural Property added to the judge’s lineup.
‘This competition is always a wonderful way to spread holiday cheer in the lead up to this special time of year, and we hope these minor adjustments will make it more inclusive of the entire region,’ said Mayor Kerry Hayes.
‘Driving around the region to see the lights is a special part of the festive season for many families, and we believe being able to vote for your favourite display this year will only amplify the tradition.
‘I am especially looking forward to seeing the creative festive displays taking over our rural properties. If previous years are anything to go by, this will be a competitive category to judge.’
Entries are now open until Sunday, 12 December 2021, with voting for the People’s Choice Award opening on Monday 13 December via Have your say.
