ROAD CONDITION REPORT - 30/11/2021

All unsealed roads within Lachlan Shire are open to all vehicles.

Significant rain has fallen in recent days causing numerous washouts. Damage has occurred in low lying areas and causeways. Motorists are asked to use extreme caution when travelling.

Road Closures (due to flooding):

* North Forbes Road (SR 85) - CLOSED to all vehicles due to water over the road approx. 12km east of Condobolin.

* Lachlan Valley Way (MR 377) South Forbes Road - CLOSED to all vehicles just east of Jemalong, at the 21 Mile.

* Kiacatoo Road (MR 7521) west of Kiacatoo - CLOSED to all vehicles.

* Kiacatoo Road (MR 7521) 15 kms from Condobolin - water over road, passable with caution

* Diggers Road (SR 94) - CLOSED to all vehicles.

* Burcher Road (SR 1145) - CLOSED from Fitzgerald Road (SR 106) to Lachlan Shire LGA boundary

* Driftway Road (SR 97) – CLOSED to all vehicles.

* Grassmere Road (SR 90) – CLOSED to all vehicles at Humbug Creek

* Clargo Road (SR 102) – CLOSED to all vehicles at Humbug Creek

* Diggers Avenue (MR57S) – water over road, passable with caution

* Smythes Culvert, Lachlan Valley Way (MR57S) just past the Utes in the Paddock - water over road, passable with caution.

Please avoid walking or driving through flood waters, it may be deeper and faster flowing than anticipated and/or the road may have suffered extensive damage hidden beneath the water.
