Our town centres are answering your Christmas shopping wishes

It’s officially December but there's no need to start panicking about your Christmas shopping list. Our local business community is here to make things a whole lot easier.

At our local villages, don't worry about the stress of finding a park or postie delays not delivering your gift in time. Instead, you’ll find a community atmosphere and unique pressie ideas for every friend and family member, plus you’ll be supporting Northern Beaches locals.

Not that you needed any more enticing, but we’ve made our local town centres more festive and fun too, so you’ll want to hang around a little longer! Christmas decorations are bringing a little festive magic to our villages across the Beaches with fairy lights, garlands and pole flags.

Many of our local centres are also putting on special shopping nights and Christmas entertainment too!

Freshwater Village has kicked off #FestiveFreshie – come along this Saturday 4 December where you’ll find family entertainment and live music to enjoy while you shop. Exclusive offers will be running for the shopping event until Tuesday 7 December.

Fairlight Village will be hosting Fairlight Fridays, a late night shopping event where the village will be bursting with Christmas spirit on Friday 10 and Friday 17 December. Listen to live music while picking out unique gifts and when you’ve built up an appetite try out new evening menus from your local favourites.

On Saturday 11 and 18 December, 4-6pm, live Christmas carols and festive music will accompany you as you tick off your list in Newport Village. Your favourite boutiques and restaurants will be ready to welcome you.

Forestville’s The Centre will have festive live music to serenade your shopping trip and kid’s entertainment to keep little ones busy on Saturday 18 December, 11am-2pm.

Don’t miss the Artist and Maker’s hub at Mona Vale Creative Pop-up. You’ll find unique, locally made gifts, including art, leather goods, ceramics, limited edition prints, jewellery, candles and locally printed t-shirts.

Manly Art Gallery and Museum’s Design Shop is another great spot where you can support local artists with a range of handmade gifts and objects authentic to the Northern Beaches available.
