City of Fremantle celebrates local volunteers

This Sunday is International Volunteer Day and to celebrate the City of Fremantle is giving thanks to the exceptional work residents continue to do in our community.

Held annually, 5 December is an internationally celebrated day to give much-deserved acknowledgments to the incredible contribution our volunteers and organisations make.

This year’s theme is volunteer now for our common future, which aims to inspire everyone to act now to create a better life for our community and planet.

Volunteers play a vital role in creating an engaged, resilient, and connected community, and our City volunteers are a clear example of this.

We would like to acknowledge our volunteers and their efforts among our community in working towards a better common future.
