Visitor Information Centres to return to normal operating hours
Blue Mountains 3 Dec 2021

From 13 December, both Visitor Information Centres at Glenbrook and Echo Point will return to normal operating hours.

Due to the COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions, both centres closed in June. The Glenbrook centre has remained closed, while the Echo Point centre has been operating Monday – Friday since restrictions began to ease.

Blue Mountains Mayor Mark Greenhill said: “The reopening of the Visitor Information Centres to normal hours is the latest step we’re taking towards ‘normal’, and it couldn’t come at a better time.”

“School holidays are always busy in the Mountains, but the summer holiday period is our peak season, so having the centres reopened full time makes sense.

“Every journey to the Blue Mountains begins at our Visitor Information Centres, and the staff provide expert advice and an invaluable services, guiding visitors to the exceptional offerings we have.”

Once the centres resume full time operations, they will be open:

Echo Point – 9am – 4pm 7 days a week Glenbrook – 8.30am – 3pm 6 days a week (closed Mondays)
