Works to CWA building toilet amenities due to vandalism, Moranbah

Council advises the amenities located outside the CWA building on Batchelor Parade are having works done to repair damage from vandalism.

Isaac Regional Council advises the amenities located outside the CWA building on Batchelor Parade are having works done to repair damage from vandalism.

Community members are requested to maintain caution around the block during the works. Toilets will be available for use during the works, or alternate toilet amenities are available nearby in Town Square Park.

To avoid further damage Council has changed the hours the amenities are open. The new opening hours are:

6.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday Closed at all other times

VANDALISM IS A CRIME

Vandalism is the act of damaging or defacing property without permission.

Council spends a lot of time and money fixing instances of vandalism across the region that could be better spent on improving our communities.

REPORT TO COUNCIL

Rapid reporting allows Council to quickly address any instances of vandalism and protect the community if the vandalism presents risks.
