The upgrade of Raby Road between Eagle Vale Drive and Spitfire Drive is progressing with stage two works set to commence over the New Year period.
The final asphalt was laid this week to complete stage one works on the northern side of the road.
Stage two works will start on Tuesday 4 January and will include widening of the southern lanes as well as kerb and gutter works, drainage and landscaping on Raby Road and Eagle Vale Drive.
Minor traffic disruptions are expected on Monday 13 December and Tuesday 14 December when traffic flow is switched and works begin on the stage two section, including the southern lanes.
Works will shut down over the Christmas period between Friday 17th December and Monday 3 January.
The project is expected to be complete by July 2022.
The $7million project is funded by the Federal Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan which aims to support population growth and access across the region.
