ROAD CONDITION REPORT - 9/12/2021

Significant rain has fallen in recent days causing numerous washouts. Damage has occurred in low lying areas and causeways. Motorists are asked to use extreme caution when travelling. 

Road Closures (due to flooding):

•North Forbes Road (SR 85) - CLOSED to all vehicles due to water over the road approx. 12km east of Condobolin.

•Kiacatoo Road (MR 7521) - CLOSED to the travelling public.

Detours available via Henry Parkes Way (MR 61), Palesthan Road (SR 1187) and Bimbella Road (SR 56).

•Keera Lane (SR 326) – CLOSED to all vehicles

•Diggers Road (SR 94) - CLOSED to all vehicles.

•Burcher Road (SR 1145) - CLOSED from Fitzgerald Road (SR 106) to Lachlan Shire LGA boundary

•Driftway Road (SR 97) – CLOSED to all vehicles.

•Grassmere Road (SR 90) – CLOSED to all vehicles at Humbug Creek

•Clargo Road (SR 102) – CLOSED to all vehicles at Humbug Creek

•Gum Bend Lake Road (SR 347) – CLOSED to all vehicles

•Bobadah Road (SR 1169) – Open to light traffic from Cockies Road to Bobadah Hall

•Weir Road (SR 426) – CLOSED at causeways

•Lachlan Valley Way (SR 230) – CLOSED to all vehicles

Water over road – Passable with CAUTION:

•Smythes Culvert, Lachlan Valley Way (MR57S) just past the Utes in the Paddock 

•Palesthan Road (SR 1187) – Water over causeway approximately 50 kms from Henry Parkes Way

•Mooneys Lane (SR 30) – water at Kiacatoo Road (MR 7521)

•Lachlan Valley Way (SR 1411) – water over road at Euabalong Bridge

Please avoid walking or driving through flood waters, it may be deeper and faster flowing than anticipated and/or the road may have suffered extensive damage hidden beneath the water.
