FLOOD INFORMATION

Motorists are reminded not to drive through floodwaters and to proceed with caution on all roads. Please check Council’s website, social media, and the NSW LiveTraffic app for road closures. 

CHRISTMAS CLOSURE

Council’s administration offices and Service NSW agencies: 

Condobolin - closes 12noon Thursday 23 December 2021 and reopens 8:30am Tuesday 4 January 2022.

Lake Cargelligo - closes 4:30pm Wednesday 22 December 2021 and reopens 9:00am Wednesday 5 January 2022.

HACC Services - closes 3:00pm Thursday 23 December 2021 and reopens 8:30am Wednesday 5 January 2022.

Condobolin Library - closes 5:00pm Thursday 23 December 2021 and reopens 9:00am Tuesday 4 January 2022. 

Works Depots - close 4:00pm Thursday 23 December and reopen Monday 10 January 2022. 

Lachlan Children’s Services close 5:00pm on Friday 17 December 2021 and reopen on Tuesday 4 January 2022.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC EXHIBITION

The Draft Rural and Industrial Land Use Strategy is on public exhibition until 1 February 2022.

The Strategy is to guide land use planning for industrial and rural development for the next 20 years. To view the Strategy, visit https://www.lachlan.nsw.gov.au/council/public-exhibition.aspx  or a copy can be viewed at Council’s Administration Offices in Condobolin and Lake Cargelligo; Tottenham Post Office; or Tullibigeal Co-Op. In

ROADS

Maintenance grading on the unsealed road network is continuing as weather and floodwaters permit.

UTILITIES

Planned interruption to water supply - McDonnell Street, Condobolin (between Bathurst and Orange Streets). Surrounding areas may also be affected. The interruptions will occur between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00am on Wednesday 15 December 2021 (weather permitting) to allow Council to perform critical maintenance works. Residents in the affected areas are requested to ensure they have ample water in reserve to cover their requirements during the supply interruption. Any residents that have a special water need should contact Council immediately on (02) 6895 1900 for service arrangements to be made.

INFRASTRUCTURE AND COMMUNITY BUILDING PROJECT UPDATES

Projects are progressing as weather and floodwaters permit.

Condobolin Animal Shelter - roof installed internal fit-out in progress.

New Condobolin Work Depot – framework erected on two main buildings.
