Choose Your Own Adventure These School Holidays

Lithgow City Council and a range of local organisations have a fantastic line up of school holiday activities and events planned for these summer holidays.

The Planet Youth team have put together a school holiday program that caters to a wide range of ages and interests, include gaming, dungeons and dragons, dance, theatre sports, ukulele classes and much more. On Australia Day there is a free event for all ages at the JM Robson Aquatic centre including free entry to the pool all day and live music all afternoon. Come down and bring the family for a fun day out.

Lithgow LGA also has a diverse range of parks, trails and region villages to check out.

The Endeavour Park adventure playground and new pump track are great places to spend a day. There are accessible toilets, water bubblers and activities for all ages from toddlers right through to adults, plenty of parking and a dog park for the furry members of your family.

Share Our Space opens the gates and gives the people of NSW access to the outdoor ovals, playgrounds, sports courts and gardens of participating schools during the school holidays. Participating schools in our LGA include Capertee, Hampton, Meadow Flat, Portland, Wallerawang and Zig Zag public schools.

Lithgow’s J M Robson pool will be open every day of the holidays except Christmas and Boxing Day, so when things start to heat up you can take the family down there to cool off.
