Businesses in the Campbelltown and Ingleburn CBDs can now apply for a grant to help kick-start their ideas for a unique event.

Expressions of interest (EOI) are now open for grants of up to $2,000 through the Festival of Place Business Event Grants program.

“We’ve got many great and innovative businesses in our city who are invested in improving our CBDs and have many great ideas to run unique events,” General Manager Lindy Deitz said.

“These grants are a great opportunity for people to help fund those ideas and turn it into something fun and exciting for our community to enjoy,” Ms Deitz said.

Event ideas can include cultural entertainment, artisan workshops, live music or children’s activities and must be held between February and May.

Priority will be given to events that encompass the street or public spaces around the business.

This project is being funded by the NSW Government through the Festival of Place grant program.

EOIs close on Monday 31 January.
