Clermont water treatment operators have been working diligently overnight with the water clearing for some residents. Isaac Regional Council have received further reports of discolouration this morning.
Council has engaged additional resources to assist local water treatment plant operators to resolve the situation.
The discolouration is due to a significant change in the chemical structure of the raw water from Theresa Creek Dam received at the water treatment plant.
Council thanks the community for its patience and understanding.
Council encourages residents to report all water discolouration to 1300 ISAACS (1300 47 22 27) so Council can further investigate and will assist in resolving the situation.
