Fairy Bower Ocean Pool has been renovated

We’ve recently upgraded the stormwater outlet at Manly’s iconic Fairy Bower Pool and created a larger space for pool users to sit, relax and enjoy the water view.

We’ve also installed a Living Seawall to encourage more sea life to Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve.

The Living Seawall has been developed by the Sydney Institute of Marine Science and is made from tiles that mimic the natural environment commonly found on rocky shorelines.

In a few months, the Living Seawall will be home to sea life like shellfish, seaweeds, oysters and marine snails.
