Australians all let us rejoice… for it’s time to fire up the barbecue, grab your mates and celebrate all the things that make our nation great.
On Wednesday 26 January 2022, the Central Highlands Regional Council will premiere the Australia Day Awards online on our Youtube Channel at 9.00 am.
There will be four online ceremonies to watch, with each including the presentation of Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Cultural Award, Sportsperson/Administrator of the Year, Junior Sportsperson of the Year and Community Event of the Year awards.

The 2022 Central Highlands Australia Day Awards are assisted by the Australian Government through the National Australia Day council.
COVID-safe, private Australia Day Citizenship ceremonies will also go ahead, with 51 residents in the Central Highlands due to become citizens.
