Wyndham City Libraries have a range of free library resources and activities available for students of all ages.
With the 2022 school year approaching, it is a great time to remind learners in Wyndham of the fantastic resources available at your local library.
Wyndham City Deputy Mayor and Learning City Portfolio holder, Cr Jasmine Hill said: “Wyndham Libraries also offer a great opportunity for our local students to take advantage of the dedicated study spaces and resources our libraries have on offer.”
“Students are encouraged to come and study in a quiet environment with like-minded students. Starting a study routine in a quiet study space can re-energise students and enhance concentration.”
“For our younger residents starting their learning journey, there is a wide range of resources available to support early literacy and numeracy. As well as a wide range of interesting and entertaining books to engage young readers.” Librarians are always available to provide assistance to ensure you can find what you are looking for.
“Our libraries can support your child to enjoy reading by providing books to suit all reading levels. We can help your child work out what to read next, whether it be from the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge list or one of our many genre-based lists.”
“The library has books for parents and teachers to support children with special needs, including resources for dyslexia, autism and learning disabilities.”
