22-Day Remission for Clermont Water Users

Isaac Regional Council has endorsed the application of the Utility Charges Remission - Extraordinary Circumstances Policy, as adopted on 28 October 2021. This is in recognition of the discoloured water event, which occurred in Clermont from 16 December 2021 to 6 January 2022. 

Residents have been granted to receive an annualised 22-day proportional rates remission for Clermont properties that receive water consumption and water infrastructure charges.

The remission will be applied as a financial adjustment to the property owner’s next water consumption notice, issued in February 2022 and general rates notice, issued in March 2022.
