Residents passionate about the creative sector are encouraged to attend Creative Gannawarra’s first Art Salon session for 2022.
Occurring at the Leitchville Memorial Hall on Wednesday, 16 February from 6pm, this free event will enable residents to network, consult and collaborate regarding creative projects.
“The return of the Creative Gannawarra Art Salon program in November 2021 was a great success, with those who attended a session at Kerang able to learn more about this sector, to meet, share ideas and learn how local communities can work together to deliver a creative project or event,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Tom O’Reilly said.
“Leitchville is renowned for its support of the creative sector, evident by strong support for previous Art Salons sessions and performances held in the town, and Council hopes a similar turnout occurs.”
Bookings for the Art Salon are essential, with light refreshments to be provided on the night. To book your spot, please visit www.trybooking.com/BTFLL
“Please note that as part of Council’s adherence to the State Government’s Victoria’s Roadmap: Delivering the National Plan, all attending this event who are 18 years and older will need to have received both COVID-19 vaccinations and provide verification of their vaccination status or have a valid medical exemption,” Mr O’Reilly said.
