Sunday, March 27, 2022, 1:30 – 3pm If there is a way to define the past three years of pandemic life, well... "monotonous" is it.We were all secluded whilst working from home, waiting eagerly for a return to some kind of normal. Then days turned to weeks, weeks into months...and suddenly we arrived at the 3 year mark. Normal never came - instead we got used to the idea of operating within the confines of our own home.  All the while, live music suffered…The pandemic did not just hit the Arts - it was demolished, and it came as a shock to the system, but, as Australians, we always look for the silver lining. We began to adapt by moving to different forums, exploring more online mediums and developing new ways of entertaining from within the confines of home. However, despite these moments of virtual ingenuity, the novel-coronavirus has had a devastating impact on the live music scene - for none more so than our young performers."ANTEMONOTONIE" is a concert that aims not only  to elevate us from our fastidious rituals, but allow our young rising talent to get their foot in the door after what has been a difficult few years. In the beautiful Sandgate Town Hall, you will hear these singers exclaim awakening, sing for love, and celebrate music written across generations. From the comforting music of Mozart through to the Rodger's and Hammerstein, we gather as musicians to put back the spring in your step, the variety into your evening, and some ANTEMONOTONIE back into your lives.
