In accordance with the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015, notice is hereby given that Cotton Holdings Pty Ltd has prepared modifications to the proposed Amendment No.1 to the Local Structure Plan for Boyanup East.
Since the previous advertising of the East Boyanup Structure Plan Amendment No. 1 in March 2021 considerable work has been undertaken to respond to the various issues raised. Additional research, analysis and negotiation has resulted in the following design modifications:
Increasing the lot sizes proposed in precincts 7 and 8 to be consistent with the requirements of the Government Sewerage Policy. Clarifying the responsibilities of government agencies and the developer in respect to design, land acquisition and contributions for the Picton – Boyanup road intersection. Modifications to the local water management strategy.Plans and documents setting out and explaining the modifications to the proposed Local Structure Plan are available for inspection during office hours at the Shire Administrative Office in Forrest Road, Capel and Boyanup Library Thomas Street, Boyanup.
Submissions on the proposed modifications to the Local Structure Plan Amendment can be lodged in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Capel, PO Box 369, Capel WA 6271 or by email to [email protected] and are to include the Structure Plan name, the property affected and details of the submission and lodged on or before Friday, 4 March 2022.
