The Stolen Generations Testimonies project was created to show the ongoing effects of this dark period in Australia's history. Hear the stories and experiences of 30 survivors through incredible, raw interviews that elevate the voices of those directly affected by Kevin Rudd's apology.
The 13th of February, National Apology Day, is a significant day for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This day marks the anniversary of Kevin Rudd's apology on behalf of the Australian Federal Government, to the stolen generations who were forcibly removed from their family, Country and culture.
