24 February, 2022
Lithgow City Council is inviting the community to Queen Elizabeth Park from 6:00pm on Friday 25 February for the last summer picnic. Bring a blanket, your picnic basket and settle in for a great evening of community connecting with the “The Lounge Catz Mini Big Band.”
After months of Covid lockdowns and despite a wet summer, the Lounge Catz Mini Big Band has been transforming the park into a place to play, picnic and celebrate community. We feel accomplished. This is what summer in Queen Elisabeth Park looks like!
It’s been heartwarming to see friends, neighbours and people from across the area out and enjoying our public spaces in such a vibrant style.
Invite your friends, take the kids, dogs and your picnic blanket, and celebrate the beginning of autumn and more opportunities to get together.
