Cardinia Shire Council is seeking feedback from the community about the future use of the Nar Nar Goon Soldiers Memorial Hall.
The Nar Nar Goon Soldiers Memorial Hall was built in 1921 to commemorate those who served in WW1 and in 1980 the hall was reopened as a memorial community centre commemorating those who served in conflicts for Australia.
Cardinia Shire Mayor Councillor Jeff Springfield is encouraging the community to jump online and have their say through the online platform Creating Cardinia.
“We want to work with the local community to find out how this space can best be used and to reflect the needs of the community,” Cr Springfield said.
“During this community consultation, we are keen to understand the local community’s relationship to the hall, how the community would like the space to be used in the future.
“We are also looking into the history of the hall and would like to hear local stories and experiences that to preserve.”
