Recycling bin collection temporarily suspended

Redland City Council’s rubbish collection contractor JJ’s Waste and Recycling cannot empty yellow-lidded recycling bins today and possibly tomorrow, as there is currently no access to the Visy recycling facility due to the flood situation.

All other waste collections, however, will proceed as usual.

Council will provide an update on the resumption of recycling services as soon as possible.

In the meantime, residents who would usually have a yellow bin collection today, Monday 28 February, should bring their bin back in.
