Be aware of manhole covers on the rise

Redland City Council 25 Feb 2022

Some stormwater and sewerage manhole covers are lifting due to the deluge of water coming through the system.

Due to the continuing weather, re-positioning the manhole covers is not possible until the rain subsides.

Council has installed tiger mesh, or where the impact is minimal, installed witches hats.
