Earlier this week, Burnie City Council announced that it will be presenting a spectacular Easter experience for the community on Saturday 16th April at the Burnie Arts & Function Centre.
The Happy Hoppy Easter Movie Eggstravaganza will run across the day with separate session times providing families with an opportunity to enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable Easter experience with a movie, animal nursery and arts and crafts.
Acting Mayor Giovanna Simpson said "Council have had an overwhelming response to our first Happy Hoppy Easter Movie Eggstravaganza, selling out 2 sessions in less than 24 hrs!
“Council can confirm that we will be adding an additional session and will have more information on this shortly, please keep an eye on our website and facebook page.
“If you have booked a session and find that you are unable to attend, please let us know so we can reallocate your tickets to other people.”
“We are also super excited to announce that Council is supporting One Agency Burnie’s annual Easter Egg Hunt this year at Burnie Park – this will be on the week before Easter, Saturday 9 April from 10am to midday. Be sure to save the date and keep an eye on our website and facebook page for further details.”
