Charters Towers Regional Council is encouraging Survivor fans to book their free tickets to watch the finale episode of Australian Survivor Series 7 on the Big Screen at 7:30pm on Monday, 4 April 2022.
The community is encouraged to book their tickets now to avoid disappointment and watch the final episode of the locally filmed and produced season, Blood V Water, together at the Charters Towers Tors Drive-In.
Tickets are limited and essential for the free event. Bookings will close at 4:00pm on Friday, 1 April 2022.
Mayor Frank Beveridge said the screening at the Drive-In is a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate the production that has really shone the spotlight on the Charters Towers Region, including the beautiful location of Big Bend and Echo Hole.
“This free event will allow the community to come together as one to acknowledge the work that Endemol Shine Australia has done to help put our Region on the map, both nationally and internationally.
“Everyone in our community helped to make the production of this 24-episode series a positive experience for all involved and it has been great to watch it play out on Channel 10,” he said.
Council worked closely with Endemol Shine Australia to bring Survivor to the Region well before the production hit the television screens and is truly excited to see the final episode aired to a global audience.
“The production crew behind this series have certainly given the world a great glimpse of why this region is celebrated for its natural beauty.
“This series of Australian Survivor has certainly showcased our unique landscapes and wildlife to the rest of the world.
“I am confident to say that we are now set to further reap the rewards of this amazing opportunity with many talking about the region and the annual tourism season set to begin,” Mayor Beveridge said.
